Parabolic solar reflectors are large though portable. A pot or kettle is suspended, or set on a cooking shelf, positioned to maximize the sun’s rays. They heat food to up to 450, requiring safety precautions. They are fuel-free, with zero carbon emissions.
They have become common sites along trekking routes in the Himalayas, freeing local women from year-round smoke-related maladies and sparing forests. Once paid off, cooking is free, so they save money, too.

Cuiseur Solaire is promoting them in Morocco, for all the same benefits.
